Somehow I know
The things i feel
The things i do
Are going to mean nothing to you
But i do them anyways
Hoping you will approve
But everything i do
Is never good enough for you
You say you understand
Like you've been through it
But no one knows whats its like
Just to be me
Not who i pretend to be
But the real me
The things i know
The things I've seen
Have kept me from being me
I'm not perfect
I'm not special
But i fit in
So i continue to pretend...
