Midnight Darkness
Lying awake in the midnight darkness,
Feeling alone and breathless.
At the door there she saw him,
He was looking so dim.
It was then he looked at her and cried,
Her world fell apart,
she felt the pain inflicted on her heart.
Roaming about the lonely home,
The harsh pain of being alone.
As she searched for a new light,
All she found was darkness, nothing bright.
Having nothing but loneliness,
Feeling scared and breathless.
Deeper and deeper the pain in her heart,
there lye a launched arrow of sadness that would be forever
