Because I’m not my brother’s keeper
I ignore his painful cries at night
When nothing ever goes the right way
He’ll come home at 3 a.m.
Then be out again at 6
Hiding his “soul windows”, trying to look tough
But he’s only fooling himself
Being someone he’s not, hurting others
When it’s what he hate the most
But what do I care?
I’m not my brother’s keeper.
