things unseen
Hiding behind a mask is a girl that’s yet unseen
The mask shows a face that smiles at you and me
We probably smile back just out of cutesy
Her smile says hello while her eyes cry “HELP ME”
She’s trapped in a world that nobody seems to understand
She’s reaching for help but nobody is lending a hand
She knows about God, in him she prays, trust and believe
When no help was found she dropped on her knees
She reached to the sky and cried, “Lord why me?”
He looked down, chuckled and replied,” You thought I left?”
She looked up surprised at the voice, and then she answered, “Yes!”
He said, “No my child this was just a test.”
She said in relief,” Thank you for being at my side
I can take this mask off now there is no need to hide.”
He replied instantly, “Now you are strong, I knew you could take it,
The next time trouble comes your way you’ll have the strength to make it.”
