mothers walk in front for guidance behind us for support and beside us to show us that they are our friends

Hiding behind a mask is a girl that’s yet unseen

The mask shows a face that smiles at you and me

We probably smile back just out of cutesy

Her smile says hello while her eyes cry “HELP ME”

She’s trapped in a world that nobody seems to understand

She’s reaching for help but nobody is lending a hand

She knows about God, in him she prays, trust and believe

When no help was found she dropped on her knees

She reached to the sky and cried, “Lord why me?”

He looked down, chuckled and replied,” You thought I left?”

She looked up surprised at the voice, and then she answered, “Yes!”

He said, “No my child this was just a test.”

She said in relief,” Thank you for being at my side

I can take this mask off now there is no need to hide.”

He replied instantly, “Now you are strong, I knew you could take it,

The next time trouble comes your way you’ll have the strength to make it.”

i go to church and see young people all the time that needs to be told that they are only going through things in their lives not because god don't love them but because they are getting stronger. They just need to keep going and not quit on themselves. its better in the long run

life had i loved the more
had it but passed away
as quietly as the day
ebbs from the darkening star.
