Black Death

You see, can't you
That death is crawling?
Oh, joy you too!
Death is now calling
But we are smart
We will not answer
My life is not ready to part
But death is a real prancer
Tonight he goes from house to house
They don't notice him at all
He's quiet as a mouse
And like a tower so tall
Scurrying like a rat
Leaving behind a crimson track
Eating souls and getting fat
Cloaked in all black
You see, can't you
That death is crawling
Now one left to go, not two
Off you go falling
To the Black Death's grip
Have a nice trip.

The author's comments:
Kind of dark, but oh well. I thought of the Black Death that went through England. (I even included something about rats *since they say rats could have been the reason the illness started in the first place*)

*spoiler* at the end the narrator is basically betraying the other guy to get away since only one has to die.
