To Fix That Which Is Unfixable
I cried today
You text me hey
I replied depressingly
And finally you asked
Are you ok?
I told you yes
I'll be just fine
You couldn't take that
Couldn't let me
Wallow in my sadness
So I told you,
"Please you can't
fix me so don't try"
You told me there
Is nothing to fix
I'm perfect, but
You don't know me
You know nothing
Of my self harm
And nothing of my
Constant sadness
"I am to broken to
Be fixed"
I attempted to explain
But you would not
Listen to my pleas
You asked me,
"Please, babe
I love you. What's wrong"
I cried some more
Pulled out my knife
How can you love,
A monster like me?
How can you fix,
That which is unfixable.
