The absence of you is becoming murder
and I am already hitting the ground
What's worse is everything is getting so colder
And the demon in me blazes with sound

My thoughts consisting of you and my heart
And I am beginning to wonder which is more tart
My thoughts an antonym of silence
and they are beginning to be about violence

Violence is my other soul
Like a coin, I can be two-faced
Eyes black as coal
And my ego is embraced

Because it is deep in my soul
it's an unforgotten being
The price takes a toll
But it's a cost worth seeing

Like Jekyll and Hyde I'll be
With violence by me,
Anger is all that you'll see
Blame yourself;
You have formed the new me.
