Tribute to a friend

Tribute to a Friend
The day I saw you, you had your first baby tooth
Thinking you were lying but it was the truth
That same day, you landed home base
And won first place
The day I saw you was the day I realized you weren’t you
Before, I didn’t have a clue
Now I see you don’t have that spark in your life
And always have knife
The day I saw you, you were sleeping
Not to be ever awake again, and never see your chocolate eyes

Not to ever see your glowing smile that seemed to light a gloomy room
All I hope is that that this is what you wanted…
