On my road of life,
I walk,
Hand and hand,
With my family and friends.
I dont know where we are going
Or where we will end up,
But it doesnt matter
As long as we are together.
I sometimes stop to wonder,
Should I just give up or keep moving ahead?
I choose to move forward.
I am not left far behind,
But given distance to learn on my own.
They watch me,
They guide me,
When i can guide myself no longer.
They are what keeps me together,
And it saddens me,
When i see a road of life coming to a dead end,
They cannot turn back,
No times for second tries,
Only time to say I Love You,
And whisper a sad sweet goodbye,
We are going to miss them,
As our roads keep moving ahead,
They will always be in our hearts,
And in the thoughts in our heads.
They will be in prayers,
Even though they are in a better place,
I know they are looking down upon us,
With a smile on their face.
