Forgive and forget.
Who decided that that was the way to live?
Pain cuts deep.
Leaving crippling memories of time spent and love lost.
Mistakes were made.
Are made.
Will be made until the end.
And I can’t forgive those that have done me wrong.
I’m not ready.
They’re not ready.
Humility is a trait best learned by humanity today.
Forgiveness is a two-way street.
And I can’t forget,
Won’t forget,
Refuse to forget,
Those times in my life when I just felt…
Finished.
It’s me against the world tonight.
I will never forget.
Who wants to leave these years to a simple mantra made for those,
Let’s say,
Nonconfrontational individuals?
