Alone in the dark

I cannot see but i know I'm alone, I lay here on my back and look at the night sky. I lay here wondering, is there more. More to this game that they call life, where the fortunate rise and the unfortunate fall. This world where people kill for passion and greed, and where people die for faith and honor. This complex world where famine and drought strike and many perish. Many die but in their place others are born. The world is a dark place and many people are alone in the dark.
