He’ll Never Know
He will never know that I love
it when he teases me.
I smile when he sings.
I dream about his lopsided grin.
He will never know that I wish I was prettier
for him. He will never know I let him
cheat just so he will sit by me. That I love it
when he talks to me one on one. He will
never that I try to be different to impress him.
He will never know that I love the way his
brown eyes twinkle. He’ll never know that I
wrote this poem for him, and he’ll never know
that I love him.
