BRICK'S WALL
I used to be Amanda, but now Amanda is all gone.
Brick stole my other half, and my precious gift is gone.
I was a straight “A” student, now college isn’t an option
Everything that I used to know went for sale at a local auction.
Brick came in and took my heart right out of my chest.
So I have to pretend like nothing is wrong, and I try my best.
I hide the pain of his constant appearance .
If he ever yells, “Hey, Mandy!”, I’ll pretend not to hear it.
Brick and I had so much fun , that last Friday night.
Well we did, until the process was officially done, I cried myself to sleep Saturday night.
Now Brick had to take a dark blue pen
It took him a while before he signed the certificate.
I used to be Amanda, but now Amanda is all gone.
Brick stole my other half and my precious gift
So when he yells, “Hey, Mandy!”, the sound makes me sick.
Brick, (that Brick), who came and stole it.
He made me realize that I wasn't ready for it.
I finally know how hard I could fall
After all……………….
I hit my head on a Brick wall.
