high school
Yeah you sit over there acting all cool
Smoking a blunt, being a fool
You drink a beer, your hugging your girl
I hear from a distance how you think you’re cool
You might have swag
You could say you’re bad
I might be sitting in a corner being a drag
Reading a book
Or looking at you
Seeing how you waste your time
Being that kid
Who everyone thinks is beast
Taking belly shots
Throwing a fist
But deep inside
I know you kid
You were my homie
I lost you in the crowd
And became someone I don’t know.
