Courage comes in all sizes, but fits only a few. -me

I lay there silently
I toss in my sleep
I awake to the world
My pain is so deep

I sit up cautiously
And glance around
But my eyes stay
On what they have found

A picture of you
In front of my face
My eyes water to the brim
Allowing tears to escape

I curl into a ball
And cry every last tear
Wishing so much
That you were here

It's been to long
since you held me close.
My heart still misses you
With a pain still not known

So until I see you
I will hold on
The pain will not take me
It won't be so long.
