the days too long
the pages too short
to fill
my joys
my sorrows
too much
to be contained
by words
but I’ll try
yes I’ll try so hard
to put it on paper
to put it in words
just listen
be patient
and soon you will see,
poetry is where
you’re meant to be
in the heart of
the matter
deep down
in
the
soul
