Don't laugh at me because I'm not like you, because I don't want to be like you.
Don't tell me how I look, because I already know.
Don't call me names because I'm different or because I'm weird, I'm different because I choose to stand out, and I'm not weird, I'm unique because I choose to be myself.
I'm proud to be different in my very own way.
I'm just proud to be me:)

This poem is simply saying that I don't care about what others say or think about me. The only opinion that you should listen to is yourself. You should be yourself and not try to be someone you're not.
