Someone
There is always that one person
You think about all the time
Its like they are in your head
Living, breathing, speaking to your mind
You talk over the phone
You talk in public
You feel something but they don't
There is no chemistry
You know that for sure
You cant help but think
I want more
You try and try but everything falls apart
Soon enough they end up breaking your heart
They know how you feel
You know their feelings as well
The answers are like two different people
from opposite sides of the world
You try to make things right
But everything ends in a fight
Something goes wrong
But you don't know what
You spend all night thinking
on what it could be
You notice you have been trying to hard
Thinking about you and me
You back off some
But they want nothing to do with you now
Everything is a wreck
Because of what happened in the beginning
You talk to people
People talk to you
They give you advice
On what to do
You do as they say
Everything ends up right
Or at least it seems that way
No one can tell the future
Until the future is the past
