"I could be your girl, but would you love me if I ruled the world?" -Lady Gaga

Is your heart broken? Poor sweet child.
Have you been forgotten? Innocent boy
Will you cry tonight? Young sweet girl.
Allow me to walk out of the darkness and cold
There is a world where you can forget it all
And I have the only key to this other world
I will give it to you if you seek it with your heart
Pick up my paper, and read into the verses

Place your faith in me, and I can take you far
Don’t let the tears run yet. Try to escape the world
Come with me to a faraway place, I can be your wings
Take a breath and keep your mind from overheating
There’s a world made of ink that paints out flames
Place your faith in me to take you away to another place

Forget the sorrows for a few moments
Forget all the lies, and all of the brats who suffocate you
Or the problems that made you run away to begin with
For a few moments sit at the banks of my invented river
Put your faith in me to run with you to another world
To another dimension where there are no fears
Only my invented world that can take you too far away
Place your faith in me, and watch yourself fly freely

My name is German. Little known little boy poet in the Indie-eBook world.
This poem is inspired, by my love of writing with hopes of taking people away from this world, and helping them forget about their problems for a few minutes.
