Broken
When we first met,
I was Broken.
You were kind to me,
I was unspoken.
You became my goddess,
Of hope, happiness and love.
You had the softest heart,
As if you were a dove.
My heart belonged to you,
In hope that we could become,
A single inseparable couple,
That others would be numb.
I gave you a necklace,
As a rememberable token,
But now that you have left,
I remain Broken.
