Alice existed in her brilliance—or madness
depending on how the Cheshire Cat swayed your perception.
She there lived with anthropomorphic creatures.
King George VI of Britain smokes a cigarette with
the White Rabbit stuttering and stumbling over words
whist The Hatter was across the pond having tea
with The Republican party confusing them of their mad ways.
Alice was before our time, but it doesn’t mean the times have changed.
