irnoy of a clock
Anticipation is an alarm clock
Tick, tick, tick, tick
Inside the clock is a job
With a certain deadline that must be met
The shell of the clock holds it all in
Looking as though it is just another clock
But really it just wants to fulfill its job
And as soon as possible
So it waits for it’s time to come
Counting itself down till it won’t have to
Abscess over completing its job.
Time is anticipating itself.
