Butterfly
You were my   strong rooted tree, everything blossomed and bloomed around you, now all that’s left is a dark abandoned hole where you once stood, sometimes I still find slivers of memories among the remaining bark.
 When you knew me I was still a small fuzzy caterpillar, and now I have evolved into a beautiful butterfly, I grow and grow everyday.
 Although I only had you for a short while, you always knew just how to make me smile, and now you sit and lay in a far away place, where birds sing, chirp, and play.
 I often think of you and miss you everyday, I have found in time that you have never truly left me, you’re the wind around me, and you’re here in  every way, you’re a free butterfly, and sometimes butterflies fly away.
