In our teenage years
We develop
Our bones grow bigger 
And our minds expand
Some will rise
Others will fall
Our views dramatically change
Some look for love
Some look for an escape
Some reach for attention 
Some strive for perfection
We have our up and down days
With each one a new
Friends we thought were forever
Seem way out of sight 
We move on from people, habits and childhood
With each person different
Finding friendly, nasty 
Dull or bright
We struggle to find who we are
And what really matters in life 
As time goes on
We find the answers
Maybe in 10 months
Or even in 10 years
We each view differently
That's what makes us who we are.
