We always want to be in control,
to make our own decisions.
But sometimes it is better to listen to our hearts,
and give in to our desires.
Sometimes I wish I knew what I was thinking,
But I had already given in to my subconscious.
We all want to stay in reality,
But the hope of living in a dream is too hard to resist.

The author's comments:
This poem was written recently, while I was at camp and we were reflecting on our lives. I realized how big of a dreamer I was, so I wrote about how sometimes our fantasies can be worth more than our realities.
