As We Drift Down

We're just a bunch of scattered stars
Pieced together to fall apart
Fallen from the lighted place
Drifting without beauty, but with grace.
We cling to the realm that we once knew
As it shifts and fades in changing hues
Breathing slowly to stay together
Lingering on past forever.

Really loved how you played on words , and how you used them. :) I hope to see more of your work! I really liked the authors comment. " I don't know what inspired me but i just know something did. ahahah. its great. ) Maybe you can check out my work? mainly missing puzzle piece or peter pan. I would suggest "sunshine" but you'd have to read a long authors comment to fully understand. I can only improve with feedback!:)
