32 Threads
32 threads of a string release
Just one left holding me by the knees
Lord help me, help me please
32 threads of a string release
Just one left holding me by the knees
Lord help me, help me please
I always write about the love
To keep the anger from becoming too much
Feeling like my heart’s in a constant strangle
Like troubles are at a 360 degree angle
When I’m in the ambush
Funny how the friends just vanish
Disappearing when times get hard
Straight ghostin when the bull**** starts
But I gotta chuckle at the problems I create
Because they set my life more than straight
Reminds me of the importance of integrity
Incredibly the pressure just centers me
Gives me insight, who to trust
Gives me judgment, who to love
I need to stop this constant concussion
A repeat of suicidal self destruction
It’s the most inevitable conclusion
For someone with ungrateful delusions
Taking for granted the simplicity of happiness
Gotta smile and watch as the sadness resets
It’s such a beautiful nightfall
When someone just might fall
But rebounds back at the exact moment
When a brief instance of grace is open
