Stick To The Paper
When I was little
 I would run free
 Thinking about everything
 Never quite
 Fitting in
 Loving the feeling
 Of never sticking
 To the paper
 Given to me by
 The teacher
 Always escaping
 The lines
 Like a butterfly who
 Never lost her way
 Because she knew
 We knew
 The way was okay
 For those
 Stuck to
 The paper
 But not us
 No
 We were free
 To fly
 Above the trees
 Above the birds
 Above everything
 Everyone
 Everywhere
 Who had ever tried
 To hold us down
 We are still flying
 Fluttering
 Soaring up
 Up
 Up
 Higher
 Higher
 Deeper into the sky
 Getting farther away
 Never meant to stay
 But forever longing to say
"I will not stick to the paper"
To the teachers who shushed our
 Beautiful
 Magical
 Unfettered eyes
 The teachers
 The people
Who couldn't keep us tied to the ground
No matter how many times they tried
 Because we are something more
 Something anomalous
 Enigmatic
 Something who crushes the lines
 That will never
 Grasp
The wings that let us escape
 The mundane paper
 That was never
 Created
 For us who
 Refuse to
 Stick to the paper

That is amazingly descriptive, and a very unique and personal take on something I think many people feel. Great job!
