Regret of the Winds

Caressing breezes
carry sounds
of peace,
tranquility,
joy.
Transporting memories
of family,
smiles,
laughter.
Raging torrents of wind
bring the ringings
of hate,
battle,
death.
And remembrance
of blood,
still, fallen bodies,
never ending arguments.
Clashing of the air,
whirlwind of feeling,
a battle of the senses,
good versus evil.
Unendurable.
Heart wrenching.
Tear jerking.
Horrid.
Then,
gone.
Left only with
regret.
The regret of the winds.
