"You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams." - Dr. Seuss

Thou hath condemned me.
For my beliefs are not as thou envisioned
As thou might think they are.
Condemnation.
How ugly the word.
The purging of non-believers,
The punished of sinners,
Deaths of dreams and hope.
My liege, thou might not accept the Truth,
But doth upon thy head lies thy heavy crown.
A devil upon you, shifting shape of mind.
Mayhaps thou welcome him with open arms?
Perchance thou receive him gladly?
Prithee, tell me it is not so.
Did’st thou not see? Not hear?
Mine eyes are mine own. Wherefore do you strain me so?

Inspired by Shakespearean English in Romeo and Juliet along with some real-life conflicts I'm going through.
