Looking back.
You were the first.
And before I went away,
The last.
We tried to make things work.
But, phone calls weren't enough.
To make us feel the way we did,
Before.
So things ended,
And we both went our own way.
But, still today,
I wonder..
If you remember,
The way it felt,
The way I looked at you,
The love you felt for me..
Before you had to set me free.
