365 days of me
I walk down the long corridor of the basement
Thinking that it would have been better if I just hit my head on the pavement
It’s so quiet and cold with the jeering beige walls
Waiting my inevitable journey to the unbearable halls
I lower my head in shame
Believing that I am to blame
I heard them talking
I knew they were mocking
I gave them a glare because of their words presence
Even though I knew it wouldn’t make a difference
I see a shadow of a possible person behind
Maybe they came to make sure I was fine
But it was only me
And that’s all it will ever be
