I think of the summer
Whenever the weather is so cold
It bites
I think of how it's warm
And how refreshing lemonade is
I think about the taste
Of ice cream
I think about shorts and tank tops
I think about flip flops
I think about how we are free
To be whoever we want to be
I think about the sun burning me
And how I don't care
I think about swimming pool
And the cold water that's there
I think about the summer
When the weather is so cold
It bites
When I think about the summer
I start to feel all right
