I am ageless
My heart too long ago died
It left me with my youth
My love is gone
My happiness is shattered
My sadness is immortal
It will not flee nor die
For it too is ageless
For it is like me
Too long ago I loved
Too long ago I smiled
I am my companion
An empty shell of loneliness
I have become
To age is to live life
I do not live
I merely exist
For I am ageless
