Wilderness
The trees swaying in the wind
The sound of the river running
The sound of deer hoofs breaking leaves
The beams of sunlight coming though the trees
The squirrels jumping from tree to tree
The cracking of the fire when you’re roasting a marshmallow
The smell of pine all around you
The sound of wolfs howls in the deep night
O the great wonders of the wilderness.
The end of fall
The last leaf breaks away for its tree
Only to fly over a cliff into a river
And just go down the rapids
Until it gets caught on a log and fade away in the water.
