A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a love sickness.
~Robert Frost

My death is coming,
Where I will take my final breath,
My eyes will slowly close,
While my blood runs cold.

Slipping into unconsciousness,
Seeing flashbacks of my history,
Until I come upon a light,
Entering I see a man.

He wears a robe of gold,
That shimmers in the light,
He turns to me with a smile,
Sending waves of brightness towards me.

I knew who he was at first sight,
He was the Alpha and Omega,
The one in the beginning and end,
He starts to speak to me in powerful words.

Then suddenly stops and begins to walk,
I follow him down a golden road,
Seeing mansions until he pauses,
Before my eyes I see my home.

Where i will forever stay in the House Of GOD
