If I Were a Flower
If I were a flower
 I would be dead
 Dreaming about the past
 Dreading what's ahead

But I would still be beautiful
 Beyond all the decay
 My flower would be pretty
 In it's own special way

Most people can't see the beauty
 That my flower has
 They cannot look behind
 The damage of the past

But if you were to look past the damage
 You would see something great
You would see that I am full of love
Just waiting to give it away

I'm still waiting for someone brave
Enough to look past my dying petals
Someone to love me for what I am
But until then I'll just settle

I'll just settle with the dirty looks
That I get throughout the hour
Just settle with the fact that
No one Loves a dying flower
