Hello Again
Hello again Old Friend,
It’s been a while,
Our last few meetings,
Were far from civil.
You cared so much,
I felt so little,
I made a choice,
Let myself out.
Maybe I missed you,
I think you did me,
We can talk now,
More friend than foe.
I remember your fights,
You forget I’m scared,
We recall fondly,
The time we shared.
I ask how we got here,
You are honest,
You were so angry,
And now you just don’t care.
That hurts,
I still care,
Maybe always will,
You give yourself away yet.
You brag and boast,
I read you,
Just like I always could.
It’s still there,
You care.
