It swells with hatred in the innocents name,
breathing fire and sulfur,
consuming the world everywhere it goes,
leaving wastelands of stumps and flat lands,
helpless animals quake in its presence,
scampering in fear and hopelessness.
It consumes all, feeling nothing…
