The True Voice Beneath the Others

The oracle predicted doom
The rebel spoke of lies
The quivering lips prefaced teardrops
Dropping from the eyes
The bishop mumbled ‘heresy’
The prophet shouted ‘truth’
The beggar lamenting all the while
Whistling through his missing tooth
The fire foretold ashes
The storm suggested rain
The cough, so quiet, hinted at
Long nights of sweat and pain

But your face, that blossom,
And the radiance thereof
I saw your face
And heard it speak
So quietly
Of love

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I literally fell out of my chair laughing.  Really?  Tireswinger?!  Ok I'll give you some direction, I like Hazel because that's my eye color and I like Lorax but I don't really want either to be my nickname.  Can you work off of them?

Okay, okay. Go ahead, make fun of the bad nickname-maker. :)

I'll do my best to please your majesty.

What on earth gave you the inspiration to come up with Tireswinger?  You can't blame me for laughing.  Ok, I guess you can call me Liz or make up a nickname off of that.

Again, can I plead fondness for Kimya Dawson's "tireswing?"

You can plead your fondness, at least now it makes more sense.  At the time I thought you just got it out of nowhere.  PLEAD! :D
