Tomatoes are thrown
Toward my chest,
Anvils are dropping,
Barely missing my head,
Boulders are rolling,
Tumbling,
Trying to knock my feet from under me.

But somehow, I’m still standing.

My toes
Latching onto a wire
Miles into the sky,
My only comfort is clouds
Look like cushions that could catch me.

But I have balance.

It floated towards me
Wrapped in golden paper,
I took off the top and read the tag first,
It’s proper manners.
From God, it read.

I will be sending him a thank-you letter soon

Whenever I feel like the world is throwing all of life's problems at me, I look to God, and he is always there for me in the times when I need that extra support.

Great poem and I love that it is about God! So true, so true. please read my poem. "Lord, You are my Comfort," because it is very similar to this one:)

You described the problems life threw at you beautifully with the first stanza. Loved the last line, it was the perfect ending. Good job!
