One Wish

July 19, 2011

I see the flame upon the chocolate,
The flame is bright and high,
The flame is mine, this time.
But I only have one wish,
One chance to make the right wish.
Take a deep breath,
I will need the most air,
That I can possibly get.
The flame is mine, this time.
But I only have one wish,
One chance to make the right wish.
What to wish for,
Should I repeat past wishes?
Or make up a new one?
The fame is mine, this time.
But I only have one wish,
Once chance to make the right wish.
I let my cheeks puff out,
And take another deep breath,
Sucking in as much air as possible,
And I blow.
The flame is mine, this time.
But I only have one wish,
One chance to make the right wish.
I blow,
Letting my cheeks go normal.
The flame is gone,
Darkened now for another year,
The flame is mine, this time.
But I only have one wish,
One chance to make the right wish.
I close my eyes,
And turn away

And hope I made the right wish…
