Just here for the summer 
Most times it's not a bummer 
Living life away from home 
I wish I could be there with my mom and dad 
Still it's fun here 
At least I have job
In Texarkana it's not so bad 
I'm away from home so that's kinda sad 
Days watering grass 
nights playing games 
Boredom starts to sink in 
Still I'm here for the summer 
In Texarkana just in the crowd 
Trying not to catch that Texarkana wow
