Empty Room
Alone in an empty room,
My only friends a laptop and a bed
And the characters I can make up in my head.
Such is my life, sadly and it is one with me.
I am one with it.
It takes away my happiness in it,
This empty room.
But in exchange it let me drown my sorrows in it,
This empty room.
I don’t know if I’ll ever leave,
This empty room.
Though I’d like to try,
No matter how useless it will be,
For when I leave it always ends in failure,
And I go back to,
This empty room.
For the world is not,
This empty room.
Nothing is like,
This empty room.
I guess that, that makes me,
My empty room.
