"She Was a Boy"
She sheds the skin of the boy she played,
And puts it away for another day.
But there's a secret brewing that she doesn't know,
This boy, this boy has got to go.
Swallowed by a lie that was all too real,
This girl, her skin did start to peel.
All too quickly, it faded away,
Gone forever, and forever to stay.
Though he was just a skin, the part she played,
She misses him dearly, she had to push him away.
