What Am I Thinking?
What am I thinking?
To forget you would be a miracle
I hate the way I tremble
Knowing you’re in the same room
I hate the way my eyes always find yours
And I hate the way my vivid memory recalls everything
I’ve worked so hard
To forget
It’s a waste though
My efforts
How can you forget about a functioning
Part of your body?
You can’t.
And since you
Are a functioning part of my soul
I don’t really have a choice
Do I?
