There is just so much to do in the amazing outdoors,
Animals all over the place,
In the air,
On the ground.

Splash!

Something fell in the creek right by where I was standing,
So I went over to check it out,
Hoping to find some of my friends.

But when I got down to the watery creek,
I couldn’t believe my eyes,
There was a whole family of fish,
About one hundred and five!

I met every single one of them,
It took a little long,
But when the greeting was over,
It was time to play a game.

The game was pretty simple,
We put sticks in the water,
Sticks on the ground,
The fish and I would jump over them,
And whoever got to the end first,
Won!

I really underestimated the fish,
I thought I would win,
But instead they beat me by a mile.

We laughed and played,
But then I had to go,
I said so long my fish friends,
I will see you again someday.
