Summer Day
The light of the sun warms your heart
You can feel the sun’s heat hug you
While sitting you feel the biggest peace on earth
The swing goes back and forth with a breeze
You sit and admire the flower’s beauty
You are joined by friends and the best day begins
Sprinklers are turned on and it only taunts you
Not enough water you say
Well maybe a pool can do the trick
You cannonball into the pool
A splash of water rushes out
The shock of cold water sends a thrill through you
You and your friends laugh so hard it hurts
What a better thing to do on a summer’s day
Than hanging out with your friends
