Red, Orange, and Yellow tree leaves are falling
Today is going to be super balling
Children dress up today and hope for fun
Kids don’t just walk with so much glee they run
One street is filled with ghosts and witches
Children’s eyes are filled with hope and wishes
Candy corn and snickers are handed out
Candy makes kids happy so they don’t pout
Soon pumpkin bags are filled to the top
Kids become so happy enough to hop
Soon the sun goes down and the moon comes up
We walk home so that I can see my pup
I have enough candy to last a year
I think next year I’ll dress up like a bear
