When the moon is full,
The Twi is young,
To howl their hearts out,
Calling mother moon,
Basking her pale light,
They howl to raise her spirits,
Since she is sick,

Come out When the sky is dark,
When the clock strikes midnight,
When the stars are bright,

Come out as mother moon hides,
Calling her back out,
She is to shy to stay out all the time,

The darkness is her curtain,
Only opening to she her beauty,

Give cries,
Howls and yelps,
When the curtain closes,
And mother moon disappears,
The night has gone,
A new dawn approaches,
The show ends,
